well...yours may have only few details but HELL you
did an amazing jobs putting highlights, blending colors and stuffs...very different when to how i try to do CG's..which lights and shades were dull
TT_TT...... such a humble person,you are (--Yoda)
well, do have a good day
It's not sad that you don't have a driver's license yet. I'm almost 21 and I still don't have one. I don't think I'll be driving
anytime soon here in New York.
Yes, the guy is plain. You can make him more detailed by adding shadows/highlights, folds, and even stitches to his clothing. Adding the bunny would be
interesting. You still have time to edit your entry so think about it.
To give your image a more painted look, try changing the opacity and flow of your brush. That way, you can see the brush marks and colors overlap. It will look
more fluid and less flat. I'll try to find you some tutorials later.
I have to do some life drawings too. Not only that, I have to practice using traditional materials. You have no idea how horrible I am when it comes to
traditional drawings! :)
I just noticed that I haven't talked to you since April. Wow. How's it going for you?
I saw your most recent drawing. The guy looks more like an imp than a sorcerer but it's fine for the competition. The colors are very soft and cool. Also,
the contrast between the character and background is great. However, the whole image is a bit plain. There is no scenery or strong magical effects. He lacks
presence in my opinion.
You should really try painting some real backgrounds. :)

I'm doing good,i hopefully will be going to try and get my license soon.(I know sad right)I am just used to being taxied everywhere. :P
And the only reason i am getting my class C license is because i need it to get an M1 endorsement.

I agree. There was going to be a bunny getting shocked by lightning but i decided against it.
I also think the guy looks too plain and i have been trying to decide what would look good on his clothes, but i cant think of anything.(Trying to use natural
looking colors)
And i think he is too smooth,i was trying to go for a painted look but it didn't work out.(I still don't know how to do it in PS)
"You should really try painting some real backgrounds. :)"
Well i am going to stop using PS for a bit and draw from life. That was Randis Albion's advice to me when i emailed him. So after all this time i am
finally going to take it. :P
So i will definitely be drawing tree's and stuff like that.
Great and not great at times due to college and I also need to get my own computer or mac book soon and stop living of my brother's one. As much for my
art, I need to get busy ive been slacking. :( Original comment »

Let me know when you post something up on the forums. :)
My computer is starting to crap out on me so i am buying a new one in a couple of weeks. It is why i haven't been able to draw anything(At least
digitally).
Next time buy your books from an actual bookstore.
I don't know what anime/manga to recommend. I don't even know what you like. You do watch Naruto and Bleach so I guess you're into ninja/samurai
action. Ever heard of Samurai Champloo?
"Next time buy your books from an actual bookstore."
Well i am trying to buy Japanese books,to help with reading kana and grammar ect..(Not "learn japanese" stuff but authentic Japanese books.)

I have, really liked the anime...don't think they ever concluded the story over here in the US.(Not sure)
Well thanks anyway man. I will probably just look around,i am sure i will eventually find something.
The only manga that I read now are Bleach and Naruto. I read some Chobits and NANA. What kind of manga do you like?
What were the books you brought? I don't know any good books for studying Japanese. You should check out the books before you buy them. If there is a book
store such as Barnes and Noble around your area, go there.

I got some tutorials on my computer. Can you go on AIM so I can send them over to you? I can't upload them to photobucket.
If you don't want to go on AIM give me your email and I'll send them over.
I got a new screen name by the way. You'll see it when you log on.
